Vital Signs
Meducation presents ‘Vital Signs’ – a documentary that shines a light on the special doctor/patient relationship at the core of general practice.
The first stage of filming took place in the summer of 2020 as the full impact of Covid-19 on Irish healthcare was becoming clear. In the spring of 2021, the rollout of Covid vaccines was captured. That now features prominently in this heart-warming and inspiring blend of interviews with GPs, patients and medical education experts with key insights to share.

‘I have always believed that the doctor-patient relationship is at the core of effective healthcare promoting patient health and wellbeing. This is particularly true of the relationship between GPs and their patients. I have always wanted to shine a light on that relationship, and to ensure that the physicians of the future get the right kind of training to build strong relationships with their patients.’
